The University of the Third Age - Welwyn Hatfield

Gardening Study Group

At a recent meeting of the Gardening group, member Mavis Norris showed us how to make displays with lots of garden greenery and a few spring flowers. We had a free raffle and four lucky people were able to take them home.

The group meets on the second Monday of the month at the WGC Cricket club Club, Knightsfield, WGC.
Indoor meetings with a speaker are generally held between October and March. The membership for the year is £10. This includes payment for the speakers, room hire and coffee, If you come as a visitor it's £3 per session to cover costs.
From May to September we organise coach trips to gardens within roughly a 2 hour or so radius.
