Bridge Study Group

The u3a Bridge Study Group meets on Thursdays from 1.15pm to 4.15pm at the Quaker Meeting House, 109 Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire AL8 6SP.

We are a friendly group and our aim is to provide enjoyable afternoons playing cards in a convivial atmosphere. We currently have over 20 group members and we usually have 3/ 4 tables a week.

Although we cannot cater for new beginners to Bridge, we would welcome NEW members who have some understanding of playing bridge either currently or in the past.

Whilst no formal tutoring is provided, we do provide some mentoring whilst playing, for those who would like to improve their bidding etc,

At each session we have a break for Tea/ Coffee and biscuits. which provides a good time to meet and get to know other Bridge Group members.
