25 April, Hatfield, John Wing: 'Malt, Milk and Medicine'
John is a retired pharmacist, who joined Glaxo in 1974 where he spent thirty years in the Medicine Safety Division. The department was moved to the Allen and Hanbury's research site in 1981 in Ware. Since retirement he has given much of his time to Ware Museum and is also an active member of Ware U3A.

2 May, WGC, Louise Reed: 'Mrs Emmeline Pankhurst'
Louise speaks as Mrs Pankhurst. She talks about her early endeavours to promote votes for women, including life in Holloway

9 May, Hatfield, Johnny Tait:'From Red Coat to Hatfield'
Johnny was born in Lambeth, London, and has been in the entertainment business for many years. He has worked all over the UK and abroad. Today he will tell us about life as a Red Coat, as a comedian and his involvement in the theatre.

16 May, WGC, Keith Baldwin: 'What a Laugh'
Keith, a former Household Cavalry Soldier and retired Police Officer, will take a healthy look at laughter - why we do it, is it good for us and what happens if we don't? - plus a chance to have a chuckle or two.

23 May, Hatfield: Justin Burgess: 'A Brief History of British Funerals + Q&A'
Justin works in his family's business of Funeral Directors which has been part of the local community for over 160 yrs. The family's business roots can be traced to 1700 when they were clock makers, beehive makers and timber dealers.

30 May, WGC, Meryl Catty: 'Our Newspaper Heritage'
Meryl has taught family history at various adult community colleges in Essex since 1979. She is a freelance lecturer and has travelled extensively throughout the country. She is currently Vice President of the East London Family History Society.

6 June, Hatfield, Martin Lloyd: 'Passports, Traitors & Spies'
Martin is well established as a writer of history, travel humour and fiction. He spent many years working with passports and researching the history of the passport.

13 June, WGC, Jerry Stone: 'The Day They Launched a Woodpecker'
In the 1980's Jerry was on the curatorial staff at the Science Museum where he covered Astronomy, Space and Exploration collections, including the Apollo 10 spacecraft. He is a Fellow of the British Interplanetary Society and the Royal Astronomical Society and Director of the Mars Society UK.

20 June, Hatfield, Jack Andrew: 'Robert Burns'
Jack speaks as Robert Burns. Jack was born in Scotland and has always held a passion for the works of Robert Burns, reciting poems outside Burns' cottage in Ayr to earn extra pocket money from tourists. He worked as a college lecturer until his retirement in 2010. His wife, Carolyn, helps Jack to bring his talks to life and provides music and history.

27 June, WGC, Peter Lawrence: 'Hidden Historical Treasures of Whitehall'
Peter is a retired member of Royalty and Diplomatic Protection at Scotland Yard. An author, broadcaster and Freeman of the City of London

4 July, Hatfield, Carly Walker: 'Rubbish, Waste & Recycling'
Carly works as the Waste and Recycling Officer for Welwyn Hatfield District Council.

11 July, WGC, Robert Keating: 'The Rothschilds and Waddesdon Manor'
We will hear about the Rothchild family and their connection with Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire.

18 July, Hatfield, Colin Oakes: 'Charles Dickens' Funny Childhood'
Colin has a degree in archaeology and an MA in London Studies. He organizes walking and coach trips around London and has talked to us in the past on 'John Betjeman's London'.
